I had the pleasure of experiencing their amazing service before they even officially opened for business that day. Despite setting up and preparing for a busy day, the owner didn’t hesitate to greet me with warmth and kindness and still offered service with a smile. She went out of her way to take care of me before hours, which speaks volumes about her character and the passion she pours into her business. The Chimi i ordered, was flavorful and authentic—just like home. That kind of dedication and heart is rare and deserves to be celebrated. I found abuelas island house downtown with the color and quaintness. The owners are to die for like lets sit on the patio and talk. And you ever notice you can get food downtown and its just warm. Their food is actually hot like fresh made hot blow on the yuca fries first hot. I love it i love it.
Wow—hands down the best food truck in downtown Tampa! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. It’s such a relief to finally have a quality food truck downtown where you truly feel appreciated as a customer. Do yourself a favor and try the Island Boy smoothie—easily the best smoothie I’ve ever had. This place is definitely my new go-to lunch spot!
