10 months agoLa Casita Dominicana is more than just a Food truck —it’s a reflection of true Dominican hospitality. I had the pleasure of experiencing their amazing service before they even officially opened for business that day. Despite setting up and preparing for a busy day, the owner didn’t hesitate to greet me with warmth and kindness and still offered service with a smile. She went out of her way to take care of me before hours, which speaks volumes about her character and the passion she pours into her business. The Chimi i ordered, was flavorful and authentic—just like home. That kind of dedication and heart is rare and deserves to be celebrated. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll keep spreading the word about this little gem in our community. Thank you, La Casita Dominicana, for going above and beyond!

10 months agoI found abuelas island house downtown with the color and quaintness. The owners are to die for like lets sit on the patio and talk. And you ever notice you can get food downtown and its just warm. Their food is actually hot like fresh made hot blow on the yuca fries first hot. I love it i love it.

11 months agoWow—hands down the best food truck in downtown Tampa! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. It’s such a relief to finally have a quality food truck downtown where you truly feel appreciated as a customer. Do yourself a favor and try the Island Boy smoothie—easily the best smoothie I’ve ever had. This place is definitely my new go-to lunch spot!

11 months agoWe recently visited La Casita and had an amazing experience! The food is excellent and truly authentic Dominican cuisine. The environment is welcoming, and the owners, David and his team, are incredibly friendly. Located in the heart of Downtown Tampa, this new establishment is a gem. We’ll definitely be coming back soon and bringing our family and friends to share this wonderful spot with them. Highly recommend!”

a year agoGreat place to pick up lunch! Had the chicken stew and it was delicious. Good portions. Very tasty and had a little side salad. Definitely a new go to spot for lunch!

a year agoEcstatic to have this right around the corner from the office! Everything tastes home cooked with love. They plan on having a rotating special to keep things fun on their small but well executed menu. Their smoothies are the BEST around. Edited 9 months agoUpdated - Closed That was pretty good. Got the stewed chicken ( 14) and it was very tender. Rice and peas had a great flavor. The salad had pickled onions which was a nice touch. Definitely a sit down meal, need to have a flat surface. I'll be back
